  1. Install Joomla by downloading the installation package from the Joomla website (http://www.joomla.org/).
  2. Unzip the installation package on your local computer.
  3. Using an FTP client, upload the contents of the “Joomla” folder to the public_html directory on your web server.
  4. Once the upload is complete, open your web browser and go to http://www.yourdomain.com/installation/.

Fill in the “Host Name” field with the hostname of your database server. This is usually “localhost.”

Fill in the “User Name” field with the username for your database.

Fill in the “Password” field with the password for your database.

Fill in the “Database Name” field with the name of your database.

  1. Once you have entered all of the required information, click on the “Next” button to continue.
  2. On the next page, you will need to provide a username and password for your Joomla administrator account. Make sure to choose a strong password for this account. Once you have entered the required information, click on the “Next” button to continue.
